Artist's Comments
These are my own characters, Ling and Feng. As you can see, they are Chinese. They have been close friends since they were small and in this picture Ling is talking to Feng about how far they've come together. Whenever she's with him, she feels whole again and that she can overcome anything. She knows he'll always be there for her.
This picture was inspired by the song With You I'm Born Again by Lulu and Marti Pellow, track 8 from the album Lulu together. I thought the song lyrics really matched Ling and Feng's bond. |
